Meet the Founder – Tais

Hi, I’m Tais, the proud founder of Little Star Daycare. Originally from Brazil, I have lived in the U.S. for over 25 years and have always been passionate about working with children. As a mom of two little ones, I deeply understand how important it is to have a trusting and nurturing place to leave your children while going to work. That understanding is what inspired me to pursue my career as a childcare provider—to offer families the same warm, loving, and safe environment I would want for my own children.

I strongly believe that language learning starts early, and I love teaching Portuguese and Spanish in an engaging, immersive way. Through playful interaction, storytelling, and hands-on activities, children absorb new languages naturally while having fun.

With a background in holistic nutrition, I also value the importance of healthy, homemade meals. At Little Start Daycare, I not only provide nutritious, balanced meals but also teach children how to prepare simple, wholesome foods, helping them develop a lifelong appreciation for healthy eating.
